As Communications and Advocacy Expert (CAE) reporting to the Country Director, you will be responsible for strategizing, developing and producing key advocacy and communication products in close coordination with the Senior Management Team (SMT), Program Country Team (PCT), Head of Program Development, Quality and Strategy, Head of Program Implementation, Gender and Protection Mainstreaming Expert, WASH Expert, Climate Resilience Expert, Nutrition Expert and Head of Projects to enhance Welthungerhilfe (WHH) South Sudan’s (SSD) presence in the humanitarian landscape in South Sudan and internationally. In your role, you will aim to strengthen organizational representation and engagement in order to inform and mobilize the public and influence policies, perceptions and practices, as well as support the resource mobilization efforts.
The Communications Associate will work within the Communications/Development Team to support impactful communications campaigns and collateral materials that strengthen myAgro’s impact and reputation with partners and farmers. The Communications Associate will maintain inventory of promotional materials, documents, reports, and other project publications. The Communications Associate will also support the Global Communications Manager, Development staff and other positions with myAgro work and events.
Communications Department is in charge of RET’s institutional identity, brand narrative, public and media relations and employee engagement under RET’s Support Services. Global Communications Officer under the supervision of RET’s Chief of Staff leads the identification, development, and implementation of communications strategy and action plan for the various target audiences encompassing institutional, governmental, intergovernmental and private sector organizations and individuals.
The Global Communications Officer develops and implements a Public and Media Relations Strategy that promotes a better understanding of RET’s key messages to RET’s various target audiences and stakeholders.
Moreover, the Global Communications Officer manages global internal communications strategy, leads all aspect of employee engagement such that all RET staff can understand RET’s mandate, mission, vision statements as well as overall operations. The Global Communications Officer is also responsible for maintaining and updating the core institutional tools, communications archives, digital communications, and institutional content generation.
Founded in 2002, TRIAL International is a non-governmental organization fighting impunity for international crimes and supporting victims in their quest for justice. The organization takes an innovative approach to the law, paving the way to justice for survivors of unspeakable suffering. With offices in Geneva, Bosnia-Herzegovina and the Democratic Republic of Congo, TRIAL International provides legal assistance, conducts investigations, litigates cases, develops local capacity, and pushes the human rights agenda forward. Its International Investigations and Litigation (IIL) Program uses legal tools such as the principle of universal jurisdiction and extraterritorial statutes to fill the accountability gap whenever States having territorial jurisdiction do not prosecute individuals and companies suspected of having committed or being complicit in international crimes.
The IIL Program of TRIAL International is seeking applicants for the position of Communications Officer to design and lead communication strategies and outreach activities that help to increase the visibility of the IIL Program’s litigation efforts and to promote the fight against impunity for international crimes, including through the use of universal jurisdiction. The Communications Officer will be based in Geneva and will report to the IIL Program Manager.
We are looking for an experienced Digital Communications Officer to join RI’s global Philanthropy and Communications team.
This position will lead RI’s social media strategy, whilst managing current social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram). You will be creating new content that highlights the organization’s global impact, and develops opportunities for fundraising engagement.
Collaborate with RI colleagues globally, consultants and external agencies both in the UK and USA, you will be responsible for creating diverse communications content for RI’s digital channels that includes but is not limited to videos, photos, reports, graphics, email and web content.
Hulo was created in June 2021, and today its permanent team is composed of around 20 people, spread over 5 countries (our HQ in Montreuil, and 4 operating countries). We foresee an important growth in the coming months as we are in the scaling up phase of our young and dynamic structure. With the launch of the new brand “hulo” in February 2023, communication has become an important topic for our organisation that needs to be structured and professionalized.
We are looking for a motivated person, convinced by our innovative project, with a strong sense of initiative and autonomy, with flawless writing skills in both French and English, able to master the digital communication contributing to hulo’s success and visibility. Hulo’s communication is oriented towards the humanitarian community as a whole, operational partners and donors.
