The Communications and Media Specialist will execute a comprehensive, integrated standard visibility plan under The GOAL Turkey Programmes. Duties will include:

  • Writing and issuing press releases.
  • Creating content for social media campaigns and the GOAL website.
  • Leading on audio-visual productions
  • Working under the overall supervision of the GOAL Turkey Programmes’ Director, and with the technical guidance of the GOAL Syria/Turkey Communications and Media Manager, the Communications and Media Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that pre-defined timelines complete the LINK and GREEN’s Communications, Visibility, and Information deliverables.

The role is also responsible for reviewing, and as needed editing, the content and layout of Information, Communication and Education (IEC) and Community Feedback Mechanism print material that will be produced within the context of LINK and GREEN under the leadership of GOAL Turkey’s Protection Team or Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning department. The specialist will be the process owner for all pertinent print production cycles, leading on associated technical specification, design, and internal and external clearance procedures. The successful candidate will have a background or strong interest in the international humanitarian assistance and global development sector; will have experience in media (traditional and digital) and content creation; and will be skilled in print production and public information content development processes, including for social media and audio-visual media.

The Writer and Editor develops compelling, high-quality content about the program implementation of this social-impact company. The Writer and Editor is a critical position in a fast-paced, six-person Communications department that juggles multiple demands from across the company. The Writer and Editor will be expected to work across all of Creative’s Program Divisions – Education, Economic Growth and Communities in Transition – to produce the stories and other content that describes Creative’s ongoing work in more than 30 countries, as well as assist program staff with selected communications deliverables. Within Business Development arena, the Writer and Editor will produce content in support of specialized marketing campaigns that position this mission-driven company.

The Communication Officer, an integral part of the Project Development (PD) team, is responsible for the planning and implementation of communication activities in line with contractual obligations, budget line, project planning and ACTED’s global communication processes and procedures. Working closely with the PD team and the relevant Project Managers, the Communication Officer is responsible for designing, organizing, and streamlining communication activities across all projects. At the same time, the Communication Officer leads on developing information materials and narratives on ACTED’s activities for internal dissemination, develops tools and provides capacity building to support the standardization of internal and external communication processes.

As a member of the Global Supply Chain Management Unit’s (GSCM) Knowledge Management and Learning (KML) team, the Communications Specialist would help drive awareness and understanding of GSCM policies, processes, and supply chain best practices, in addition to communicating important information about GSCM’s portfolio of services and major initiatives. The Communications Specialist is responsible for the ideation, production, dissemination , management, and impact measurement of high-quality communications to CRS staff globally.
This position requires a digitally savvy individual who works well in a team setting and can pick up on communications needs (both stated and unstated) while engaging with different sub-teams in the GSCM Unit and the stakeholders we work with.

The Regional Communications Officer (RCO) for CRS’ Asia Regional Office will implement a communications strategy that establishes CRS as an industry leader with key audiences in the U.S. and in the region. The RCO will capture and effectively disseminate written and multimedia content that demonstrates the impact of CRS’ work across the region, increases CRS’ visibility and influence among key stakeholders, and supports business development through effective positioning. (S)he will establish and maintain relationships with US and international media representatives based in the region, and regularly pitch stories for publication. The RCO will help ensure strong and consistent branding and messaging and work with country program communications or other designated staff to create impactful and compelling storytelling.

The Design Lead manages work on branding, visual design, content creation and website management for RightsCon’s digital media engagement. The Design Lead creates meaningful and impactful visuals and develops, tests, iterates, and implements assets for web-based interfaces, and assists with UX research, improvement, and UI/UX prototyping tasks for the RightsCon website, platform, and other products. Reporting to the RightsCon Director, the Design Lead works closely with the RightsCon Communications Manager and other members of the RightsCon team to build a strategic and creative design process for communicating with a network of 20,000+ human rights and technology experts. This role also collaborates with Access Now’s Design and Creative Production team on a regular basis on digital and material production.
